Colombo electrospindles turn up on routers cutting everything from MDF to aluminium and stone. Fan, air or liquid cooled, manual or automatic tool change: we rebuild all four series.
The RV series is cooled by a fan on the shaft, the RS by a powered fan, the RC by compressed air and the RA by liquid through a chiller. The cooling method decides what fails first: a blocked fan or a dry air line cooks bearings, and an ATC drawbar that has lost force drops tools long before the bearings complain.
Colombo rebuilds get the same treatment as everything else: strip and inspect, written quote, matched ABEC 7–9 bearings, OEM drawbar and gripper parts where needed, clean-room reassembly, dynamic balancing, run-in and test.
