Perske spindle repair
Perske high-frequency motors are the workhorse of the woodworking router: stiff shafts, precision bearings, run-out under 8 microns when they are right. We rebuild them to that number.
Perske builds the KNS, KCS, KRS, KRSV, KS and VS series for routing, shaping and finishing wood, plastics, composites and light alloys, in two-pole designs that run to 24,000 rpm and beyond. Most of what reaches our bench is bearing wear from hours and dust, followed by crash damage to the shaft and the front bearing housing.
A Perske rebuild here means matched ABEC 7–9 angular-contact bearings, a checked and, where needed, replaced shaft, new seals, dynamic balancing and a full run-in and test. We stock the common Perske bearing sets, so a standard job does not wait on parts.
